Emerge Kids
Shape the next generation through the Gospel. See their faith grow as you work directly with kids through Bible stories, songs, and activities. Or, work behind the scenes to ensure best experience possible for kids and parents.
NURSERY* Provide ministry and care for ages: 6 weeks through 3 years.
PRESCHOOL* Lead preschool children in relevant, age-appropriate activities and lessons.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL* Lead children in relevant, age-appropriate activities and lessons.
PRODUCTION* Create engaging worship experiences as actors, worship leaders, and media technicians.
GUEST SERVICES* Ensure an amazing guest experience as greeters, check-in volunteers, first time guides ,and children’s advocates.
Hospitality
You believe the sermon starts in the parking lot. You love welcoming every guest in a way that radiates Christ’s care and love for people.
GREETING TEAM - Welcome guests from the parking lot to the auditorium.
LOBBY TEAM - Create a welcoming and controlled environment for our guests.
GUEST SERVICES TEAM - Provide details about Emerge to the guests at each gathering.
USHER TEAM - Guides people to the nearest available seat in a quick and orderly fashion
PARKING TEAM - Welcomes with a smiling face and directs guests to a parking place
COFFEE TEAM - Our most vital role! ;-) Serve guests by providing beverages and snacks via our coffee area.
Creative & Technology
This team will help to create the worship space and load/unload materials for other ministries.
PRODUCTION TEAM The Production Team takes the worship experience to another level. This team includes all things technical involved with the media presentation of every Sunday and some events throughout the week. Some of the many responsibilities of this team include running computers, cameras, recording the gathering, and even some lighting effects.
WORSHIP TEAM The Worship Team takes full responsibility for the worship experience. This team includes the band and vocals for every gathering and some events throughout the week. Some of the many responsibilities of this team include leading worship, assisting with lyrics, load in / out, and greeting
Building, Safety & Security
These team members will create a safe atmosphere for all of our guests and be our first-responders.
SAFETY TEAM* Secures our children’s areas, oversees general meeting places, and is on-hand for any situations that may arise.
MEDICAL TEAM* This team also includes a team of Medics who are trained professionals who assist in situations until official help arrives (if needed).
BUILDING TEAM This team will help to set the building for the day of the gathering by collecting trash, making sure restrooms are ready, moving tables/chairs, etc.
Emerge Youth
This ministry is for volunteers who have a heart to see High School and Middle School students grow and fall in love with Jesus daily. High School and Middle School meets on Sunday nights.
SMALL GROUP LEADER/CO-LEADER* Lead and assist in small group discussions, discipleship and development of relationships with our High School and Middle School students. A co-leader is someone who can only make a short-term investment in student’s lives.
Care
This team provides prayer and encouragement as they serve people in need of love and support.
PRAYER TEAM Prays for the prayer requests received throughout the week.
FOOD TEAM* Delivers meals from restaurants to the homes of Emerge owners / regular attenders who have experienced a significant event (i.e., death in family, hospitalization, etc.)
HOSPITAL VISITATION TEAM* Encouraging individuals who are comfortable visiting attendees and members of Emerge Church in the hospital and offering uplifting words and prayer for the individuals and their families.
