Stories ::: Serving 700 Runners!

Daniel’s VIneyard came to Emerge to tell us that they would be hosting a 5K on a Sunday that we would be meeting. Daniel’s Vineyard said we could meet as a church … and we said “NO! We want to be with the community!”

We were able to serve the 700 runners and their families that came in for the 5k race! Our team of volunteers helped pull together the snacks, register the runners, and clean up after the event.

It was so great to see our team cheering on the runners and for them to be so encouraged by us! What an amazing day to be His Hands and Feet in action right at our own place of worship!
