What a gorgeous night to celebrate Jesus! Christmas At Emerge was such a wonderful evening of pointing us to Jesus. We had the kids lead us in Away In A Manger and lit the love candle for the finality of the Advent Season.

The scenery of the property and barn were simply stunning with the luminaries and singing Silent Night by candle light.

It was such a great way to end the year!

Stories :: Building Dedication

We convened on the building to gather for prayer and worship! We had the opportunity to spend time to dedicate the building to The Lord!

We had a great turnout that day as we circled the sanctuary in prayer and praise. Following that we all took time to write names on the floor of those that we were praying for as well as to put our own names on the concrete to leave our mark :-)

Stories ::: CommUNITY Church BLESSED us with CHAIRS!!

WOW!!!!!! This was a HUGE BLessing all around!!

CommUNITY Church in Muncie gave us 163 chairs for our new building!! YES!!! HUGE blessing not only financially but spiritually and physically!

We recruited 10 guys to go up and get the chairs … we arrived and the church asked if they could pray over and for us! THEN .. 20 football players from WesDel grabbed all the chairs and loaded the trailer for us! Such an amazing gift!!

Stories :: PERMIT IN HAND!

WOOHOO!!!
In what felt like years, we finally received the permit to begin the construction on the property! We had a lot of hurdles to jump through to get this done and definitely saw God’s Hand in this thorughout the entire process!

We worked closely with the local team in Fortville and the Homeland Department at the State to get the final approval in hand. With this permit, the rebuild can officially start!

Stories :: WineRun 5K Serve

For the 2nd year, we were able to serve our community at the WineRun 5K at Daniel’s Vineyard!
This event is such a great way for us to serve those that are attending. We spend time connecting with the runners as we help them register. During the race, we cheer them on, handout water, snacks, and the medals at the end. We look forward to serving at this each year!

Stories ::: Hey Church, YOU BOUGHT a BUILDING!!

It’s official — we own 211 S Merrill Street, Fortville, IN!!

We will begin the work soon and hopefully will be moving into the building late this summer! If you want to see live time updates and learn more, join us in our SLACK community.

We are incredibly excited to be able to call Fortville our official home! Looking forward to serving the community in a greater way and partnering to help Fortville prosper and to spread the Good News!

Stories ::: Building Update -- Good News, but delayed!

Hey, Church!

If you missed the news on SLACK or on the SERMON from Sunday (May 7th), we gave an update on the closing being pushed back.

First, Good News :: Appraised value came in favorable and the survey is done!! Answered prayers!!

New Closing Date :: May 24th (could move up to as early as May 19th)

Why did the closing get pushed back? — well, we are having an Environmental Phase 1 analysis done because there was an automotive repair shop on this lot prior to the church being built. This report is being ran for not only our safety but also for the future in case we were ever to need to sell the building. We want to protect our assets — people and property :-)

We have the walk through with the environmental team on Thursday, May 11th. Please be praying that this is a successful walk through and the findings are that all is well so we can move forward.

Once we receive this report and cleared, we will go to closing and begin the process of renovations. As of now, we do not foresee it impacting us on getting in the building this summer. We do need all hands on deck for the demolition team. Please signup ASAP.

Also, please consider giving — we would love to raise more $’s to avoid a big mortgage :-) … a one-time gift would be amazing, but a regular cadence of a tithe is the primary.

Stories ::: Easter @ Emerge

He is Risen!

He is Risen, Indeed!

What a glorious Resurrection Sunday filled with an impromptu outdoor gathering. We arrived a little bit earlier for the day to setup for Easter and we found out that the building was locked and no keys available.

We love how flexible everyone is .. people went to their cars and pulled out a few chairs from the soccer games on Saturday, blankets for picnics, and even a cooler for a music stand!

While this wasn’t our plan, it was God’s and it was beautiful! It was truly a beautiful morning to celebrate our Saving King Jesus! The weather was perfect, the worship was spot on, and the message was impactful.

No one grabbed a photo .. but the livestock (chickens, goats, pigs, and horses) lined up along the fence once we started singing the worship songs!

Stories ::: IF Gathering Retreat

For our 2nd year, we had a group of women push pause from their schedules to connect and grow!

We had 12 ladies that rented an Airbnb locally to truly spend time connecting with one another and grow in their relationship with God. The IF Gathering is a conglomeration of speakers that deliver various topics. All of the ladies watched sessions together to discuss, had quiet time, and enjoyed meals/snacks together.

Be sure to signup early next year as we ran out of space in the Airbnb this year! … but we can always find a bigger venue!

Stories ::: Jello for the F.A.R.M.

Church!!

You are amazing! … over 250 boxes of Jello were donated!

We delivered the 250 boxes of Jello to the F.A.R.M. PLUS gave $400 to help provide Easter Meals for the families that are served by this ministry. Each family received an Easter Dinner with a ham + all the fixings for a complete meal.

The money we donated covered boxes, dairy products, and overall costs to help the mission continue to impact the families of Fortville!

Stories ::: Indy Fuel Hockey Game

We love to get together for events outside of church. From concerts to camping to sporting events, the options are quite endless and we take the time to do it!

Why do we gather at events like this? … to build community and display to those around us that church doesn’t just happen in the building!

Thanks for all that joined for this fun night of hockey and food!
